As of 07:33 AM in Kyiv (09:33 AM Yerevan time), 53 people were injured due to missile strikes carried out by Russian forces, including 6 children and 18 adults, with 2 individuals hospitalized. All 10 missiles headed for the Ukrainian capital have reportedly been intercepted. This information was shared via the Telegram channels of the Kyiv City Military Administration and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"As a result of the enemy's nighttime attack, a total of 53 people have been injured. Among them, 20, including 2 children, have been hospitalized. Medical assistance has been provided on-site to 33 injured individuals, including 6 children," stated Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The oldest victim is 80 years old, while the youngest is just 5. Due to the operation of the air defense system, there have been around a dozen recorded incidents of missile debris falling. In the Holosiivskyi district, debris fell onto the roadway without igniting.
In the Desnyanskyi district, the 7th floor of a 9-story building caught fire, along with 8 vehicles in its yard. Residents were evacuated from the area. A total of 17 people were rescued, including 7 children.
In two other areas of the district, missile debris was found burning in open spaces. In the Dniprovskyi district, the blast wave shattered windows of two residential buildings, and a private residential house also caught fire. The missile fragments fell on three other private homes without igniting them. There was partial destruction of houses and auxiliary structures due to the falling debris.
The water supply network was also damaged due to the impact of the missile fragments, with emergency crews currently working at the scene. There are no reports of casualties.
It is worth noting that a series of explosions were heard in Kyiv last night, prompting air raid alerts throughout the city and region.
