Iranian Delegation Visits Syunik
The Deputy Governor of Syunik, Hayk Harutyunyan, welcomed the Iranian Islamic Republic's Vice President for Tourism at the 'Aras' Free Economic Zone, Mohsen Mohammadzadeh, along with his delegation today. The meeting also included the Governor's assistant Suren Kesejian and representatives from the Governor's staff and the Iranian consulate in Kapan, as reported by the press service of the Governor's office.
Hayk Harutyunyan welcomed the delegation's visit to Syunik and expressed gratitude for their mutual interest in strengthening bilateral relations.
The visitors conveyed their interest in establishing close cooperation between the 'Aras' FEZ and Armenia, particularly neighboring Syunik, and presented informational videos showcasing 'Aras', its developed sectors, investment opportunities, and potential across various fields including economy, science, education, culture, logistics, tourism, and more.
During the meeting, both sides discussed areas of mutual interest for further cooperation. The representatives of the FEZ put forward a number of proposals, particularly in tourism, culture, and education. The Governor's staff will examine these and propose specific programs for joint implementation and further expansion of ties.
