How the Footage from Zvartnots Security Cameras Ended Up on Pro-KP Websites: 'Haykakan Zhoghour'

The newspaper 'Haykakan Zhoghour' reports that last year, right before the New Year, a photo surfaced online showing the Dashnaktsutyun party member Ishkhan Saghatelyan traveling with his family to Dubai to celebrate the New Year. The story behind this widely discussed photo has yet to be uncovered: how did footage from the security cameras of Zvartnots Airport end up on websites close to the ruling Civil Contract party?

To this day, no one has been held accountable, and the Civil Aviation Committee has made no official statements.

Recalling these events, 'Haykakan Zhoghour' approached Zvartnots Airport to determine whether any processes had taken place or whether, as back then, it is still easy to cause a leak from the airport's cameras. 'As we previously responded to your outlet's inquiries, the body responsible for ensuring the aviation security of civil aviation in the Republic of Armenia is the Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia. We suggest you address the Civil Aviation Committee,' was the response received.
