VIDEO: Bus Carrying Teachers Involved in Accident, 29 Injured in Russia

A bus transporting teachers and educational organization heads from the Kostroma region met with an accident near the borders of Yaroslavl and Vladimir regions, while en route to Moscow for the closing of the Teacher and Educator Year, as reported by the regional administration.

Citing preliminary data from emergency services, officials have stated that the bus driver was killed in the crash.

Currently, 29 individuals are hospitalized, three have refused hospitalization, and 18 are in a temporary accommodation center.

In response to the incident, two buses from Yaroslavl and a crew from the road police have been dispatched to the accident site on behalf of Kostroma Region Governor Sergey Sitnikov.
