“The Boys Are Already on Their Way, Heading Home” - Rustam Bakhoyan

The boys who returned to their homeland with the efforts of the RA government are already on their way home. This was announced by Rustam Bakhoyan, a member of the National Assembly from the 'Civil Contract' party, on his Facebook page.

“I met the boys at the ‘Muratsan’ military hospital, alongside my colleagues Davit Arushanyan and Karen Sarukhanyan, who have undergone detailed medical examinations and received the necessary medical assistance. Everything is fine with them. I also met their family members, with whom I will stay in touch to support both them and our boys who have returned from captivity as much as possible. I am confident that the RA government will do everything to ensure the swift return of all our compatriots held in Baku prisons,” he wrote.

It is noteworthy that on December 7, the RA Prime Minister's office and the President of Azerbaijan's administration released a joint statement announcing that Azerbaijan was releasing 32 Armenian servicemen, while Armenia would release two Azerbaijani servicemen sentenced in return.

The exchange of military captives took place on December 13 at the Gazakh-Ijevan border. After returning to the homeland, they were transferred to the ‘Muratsan’ central hospital and underwent medical evaluations.
