Russian Defense Ministry Confirms Death of Peacekeeper in Artsakh

The Russian Defense Ministry has confirmed the death of a Russian peacekeeper in Artsakh due to an accident. It has been reported that two other peacekeepers were injured.

On December 11, 2023, as a result of the Russian peacekeeping forces' БТР-82 vehicle going off a mountain road, one service member of the Russian Armed Forces was killed, and two others sustained moderate and severe injuries, according to the statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It was also noted that the injured Russian peacekeepers received necessary medical assistance from the Azerbaijani side.
