Production Activity of Non-Alcoholic Beverage Plant Suspended

The production activity of a non-alcoholic beverage plant belonging to "Amelit's" LLC in Geghanist village, Ararat region, has been suspended due to violations of sanitary and hygienic norms established by legal regulations. This information was provided by the State Service for Food Safety.

Specifically, the inspection revealed the following issues:

• The design and structure of the production facility did not eliminate cross-contamination between contaminated and clean materials, including food raw materials and products.
• The cleaning, washing, disinfection, pest control, and rodent extermination processes for the production facilities, technological equipment, and utensils used in food production were not carried out regularly.
• The plant was not constructed to prevent the accumulation of dirt, penetration of foreign particles, and the emergence of unwanted mold. Internal windows did not have easily removable and cleanable insect protection nets.
• The facility lacked washbasins with hot and cold water for handwashing, equipment for drying hands, and a changing room for staff.

The production activity of the non-alcoholic beverage plant has been suspended, and a deadline has been set to eliminate the identified violations.
