Video: Children Extinguish the Eternal Flame in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg, children have extinguished the Eternal Flame by covering it with snow, reports RIA Novosti. The incident occurred on December 10.

The police received a report that three minors had doused the flame with snow in Krasnoye Selo. A police task force was dispatched to the scene.

"During operational-search activities, the identities of two of the perpetrators were established, revealing that the offenders are brothers aged 10 and 14, citizens of a neighboring country. The minors were interrogated and handed over to their parents," the statement said.
