Fire in a Building in Yerevan: Body Discovered

Today at 3:19 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting a fire in one of the apartments at 21 Lepsius Street in Yerevan. This was announced by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Two firefighting units, one aerial ladder, and operatives from the National Crisis Management Center’s operational group and the division for organizing firefighting and rescue operations were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 3:53 PM and extinguished by 4:08 PM. The furnishings of the living room and bathroom (30 sqm) were damaged, and the bathroom (7 sqm) suffered heat damage.

In the apartment, the body of S. M. (born in 1948) was discovered.
