Zelensky Highlights Ukraine's Main Challenges This Winter

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, states that one of the key challenges for the defense forces this winter is to ensure that Russian invaders do not seize the initiative and strengthen their positions. This was mentioned by the leader of the country in an evening address to Ukrainians, following the results of the Supreme Commander’s Game Day.

“The challenge for our state, now in winter, no matter how difficult it may be, is to assert our strength and not allow the enemy to take the initiative or to fortify their holds. I thank everyone whose actions ensure this possibility for Ukraine—to carry out our steps,” emphasized Zelensky.

The President also added that during the Prague meeting, reports were given by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and commanders responsible for various operational directions regarding the operational situation.
