Masked Individuals Humiliate, Cut Hair and Pour Paint on Russian Citizen as Act of Revenge
On December 9, at 00:23, based on a citizen's report, measures were taken to determine that Russian citizens K.A. and Y.M. had shown blatant disregard for community standards from 22:00 to 23:30 on December 8. This was reported by the Investigative Committee.
Specifically, they damaged property at a fast-food outlet located at 29 Tumanyan Street in Yerevan, threw fruits at an employee, and threw and trampled flowers at a flower shop on 24 Mashtots Avenue while expressing profane remarks. A criminal case has been initiated against a group of individuals for hooliganism.
On the same day, at 07:00 and 09:19, the police identified the suspects and presented them to the prosecuting authority. A decision was made to arrest the individuals based on reasonable suspicion arising directly from the aforementioned actions. During the pre-investigation, witnesses to the incidents were interrogated, and the police were tasked with further investigation.
Simultaneously, the arrested Y.V. reported that on December 9, 2023, around 00:00, masked individuals visited his residence in Yerevan, where they humiliated him for an extended period, cut his hair, and poured paint on his head. A criminal case has been initiated based on this report for mental influence and physical duress by a group of individuals.
