Mandatory Registration Required to Legalize Unauthorized Constructions, Cadastre Committee

Auroranews has received reports from citizens regarding unauthorized constructions, prompting another look at the statement from the State Committee of the Cadastre.

The Cadastre Committee of Armenia reminds that if your unauthorized structure was built before January 1, 2021, and is located within the administrative boundaries of urban communities, then information and documents related to the unauthorized construction must be submitted for registration to the Cadastre Committee by January 1, 2024. In the case of communities consisting exclusively of rural settlements, this deadline extends to January 1, 2025.

It is important to note that unauthorized constructions built in Yerevan and other communities of Armenia after January 1, 2021, are not subject to registration under this procedure.

Earlier, the Cadastre Committee of Armenia had stated that in order to legalize unauthorized constructions built in the regions of the republic before 2021, it is mandatory to register them with the Cadastre Committee according to the registration procedure established by the government.
