Khandanyan's Strong Response to Russian Statements Regarding French Military Equipment

Armenia is carefully assessing what type of ammunition it is acquiring. This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Foreign Relations, Sargis Khandanyan, during a conversation with reporters.

“The mutual trust that exists between us and those partners who are providing certain types of defensive measures to Armenia is, I believe, very secure,” he noted.

Khandanyan emphasized that the comments being made from the Russian side are neither logical nor accurate. The representative also expressed hope that the commitments Russia has undertaken towards Armenia will be fulfilled.

He stated that government partners have indicated they are working with the Russian side to address the issue of arms supplies.

It was previously reported that Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced that the “Bastion” type armored vehicles, which France is set to supply to Armenia, cannot be realized.
