Customs Clearance of Temporarily Imported Vehicles Should Be Done as Soon as Possible, Not Leaving it until the Last Days: State Revenue Committee

The State Revenue Committee reports that as of December 5, 2023, the customs clearance process for passenger vehicles categorized under CN code 8703, temporarily imported for personal use by individuals from non-EAEU member states, has begun at the Northern Customs Office.

The process is proceeding normally, and as of December 8, about 700 temporarily imported vehicles have already received customs clearance. Currently, around 1 billion AMD has been paid to the state budget by stakeholders.

The Committee reminds that beneficiaries of the state support program for the customs clearance of temporarily imported vehicles can take advantage of this opportunity from December 5 to December 30 by processing their vehicles at the Northern Customs Office, Monday to Saturday, from 08:30 to 19:00.

To avoid additional queues and delays, and to ensure proper and quick service at the Northern Customs Office, the State Revenue Committee urges citizens to complete their customs clearance as soon as possible and not to leave the process until the last days of the defined period.
