Animal Rights Advocates Bring Body of Slaughtered Dog to Prosecutor's Office in Hrazdan

Animal rights advocates staged a protest today outside the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia in response to the massacre of dogs that occurred yesterday in Hrazdan.

The police reported that two dogs were killed and one was injured. The advocates declared that they would start a sit-in until someone from the prosecutor's office comes down to provide an explanation.

They also brought with them the body of one of the slaughtered dogs from Hrazdan. The advocates demanded legal action regarding the incident and insisted that state shelters for stray animals should be established throughout Armenia.
