Aliyev Showing He Is Ready for Peace, Says Gagik Melkonyan

Following the exchange of prisoners, Aliyev's rhetoric has changed. This was stated by Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly’s Civil Contract faction, in an interview with NEWS.am.

In response to the media's observation regarding whether Azerbaijan aims to shift the processes to a peaceful platform and avoid using military force, he mentioned: “Even at this late stage, Aliyev says he is concerned that Armenia may take revanchist actions, and who guarantees that Armenia will not undertake such steps? This shows that he is indicating his readiness to move towards peace, but we must be vigilant and not trust any of his words.”
