Who is Armenia's Ally in the 'Peace Corridor': The President Provides Details
The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, believes that in time, Armenia will have allies for the implementation of the 'Peace Corridor' project. This was stated by the President in an interview with Armenpress.
"I think that at some point, we will also have allies who will want to invest in participating in the implementation of that program (note: 'Peace Corridor')," the President said.
He clarified that Armenia currently has allies regarding the 'Peace Corridor', specifically referring to the European Union. "I can say that they are willing to engage. We only have to do the technical work ourselves," added the President.
Vahagn Khachaturyan also recalled that a discussion on the 'Peace Corridor' project took place recently in Yerevan, attended by experts from Iran, India, Georgia, and Turkey. He emphasized that such initiatives are very important: "Everything is born this way. It doesn't happen that you say, 'I have a good idea, why is no one listening?' It doesn't work that way. You have to be able to present everything effectively," detailed the President of Armenia.
He also mentioned that Armenia should be able to envision the continuation of the 'Peace Corridor' in various directions, which could make the project even more attractive.
