VIDEO: You Are Interfering in People’s Business – Tadevos Avetisyan on Car Importers' Issues

During a question-and-answer session in the National Assembly, Tadevos Avetisyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction, presented the grievances of car importers, noting that the significant economic growth in 2022 was largely attributed to an approximately 80% increase in exports.

"But let me state an important figure: we had an export of 2.4 billion dollars in 2022, of which only 12 percent is from car exports. Now you are interfering in people's business and trying to dictate what additional benefits they should receive from their business," Avetisyan said.

The Minister of Justice, Grigor Minasyan, responded by stating that all issues related to car importers are within the jurisdiction of law enforcement. "The investigative committee is examining this issue, and the government has no role in it," he said.
