Hamas Accused of Drugging Hostages, TJP
Mariam Z.
A member of the Knesset Health Committee, Ronit Endvelt, has stated that Hamas has administered sedative medications to hostages and possibly other psychoactive substances to make them appear 'happy' on their release day. This was reported by The Jerusalem Post.
The medications in question include Clonex (Clonazepam), which has a sedative effect and is used to treat bipolar and anxiety disorders. Its effects last between 6 to 12 hours.
In light of this, committee chairman Yoni Mashrikin stated that the Israeli Ministry of Health should disseminate this information to medical organizations worldwide.
