What is the Situation on Armenia's Roads?

The Emergency Situations Service reports that there is a closed road in the territory of Armenia. The road leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province is closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
