Boxer Argishti Hakobyan Becomes World Champion

In the final bout of the Junior World Boxing Championship taking place in Yerevan, Argishti Hakobyan (63 kg), representing Armenia, defeated Belarusian Ivan Sinyakin and became the world champion.

On the second day of the final competitions of the World Junior Boxing Championship, six representatives from Armenia were in action.

Additionally, in the final match of the same championship, Armenia's Andranik Martirosyan (60 kg) lost to Uzbekistan's Firuz Sadulaev, becoming the world runner-up.
