Body of Woman Found in Arinj Home

A tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region on December 2. Around 18:40, the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a call from the emergency medical service of the Abovyan Medical Center, reporting that their team had responded to a call from one of the homes on 6th street in the village of Arinj, where a woman's body had been discovered.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police officers and investigators found the body of Marieta T., a 70-year-old resident of the same house. Preliminary information suggests that she confused the stairs descending from the second floor to the first with the intact stairway, and accidentally fell from the section where the stairs were under renovation, resulting in her death on the spot. According to the initial conclusion of the forensic examination, no signs of violence were found on the body during the external examination.
