Iran Unveils Underwater Drone Capable of Detecting and Disarming Naval Mines

Iran's naval forces have unveiled an underwater drone that can detect and disarm naval mines. According to Tasnim news agency, the innovation was presented during an exhibition showcasing the achievements of Iran's naval forces.
The underwater device can operate for 24 hours continuously and can dive to depths of up to 200 meters. Given that the Persian Gulf is relatively shallow, mines can be deployed at depths of 10 to 50 meters, posing a serious threat to vessels.
