First Tesla Cybertrucks Delivered to Customers
Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, handed over production vehicles to several customers during a presentation marking the launch of Tesla Cybertruck pickup truck deliveries, as reported by cnbc.com.
"We have a pickup truck that’s better than a pickup truck, and at the same time, a sports car that’s better than a sports car, all in one package," Musk stated.
Musk noted that the vehicle features bullet-resistant glass, can tow a 5-ton trailer, and accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds.
The company delivered a total of 10 production Cybertrucks to customers on Thursday while simultaneously revealing new details about the vehicle, as clarified by Motor1.
In the three-motor all-wheel drive version (Cyberbeast variant), the vehicle will have a power output of 845 horsepower. Such a vehicle will be sold for $100,000, while the two-motor all-wheel drive version is priced at $80,000, with a power output of 600 horsepower. The basic rear-wheel drive version costs $61,000.
