Production Activities of Meat Semi-Finished Products Plant in Gyumri Suspended

The production activities of a meat semi-finished products plant owned by individual entrepreneur Ashot Gyulnazaryan in Gyumri have been suspended. This decision came after an inspection by the Food Safety Inspectorate of the Republic of Armenia's Tavush Regional Center, which revealed violations of established sanitary and hygienic norms.

During the inspection, it was discovered that the plant failed to ensure the regular cleaning, washing, disinfection, pest control, and rodent extermination processes of the production facilities, technological equipment, and inventory used in the food production process. Additionally, the production building where food was being manufactured did not have adequate natural or mechanical ventilation, and the internal opening windows lacked easily removable insect protection screens. The restroom door opened into the production area, and the facility was not equipped with a changing room for staff.

As a result of these findings, the production activities of the meat semi-finished products plant have been halted, and a deadline has been established for rectifying the identified violations.
