Hamas and Israel Release Dozens of Hostages

Hamas has released another 14 hostages, including 4 Thai citizens and 10 Israelis. It is noted that among the released detainees were 2 individuals holding Russian citizenship.

Additionally, 30 Palestinians have been freed from Israeli prisons. Hamas has also declared its readiness to exchange Israeli soldiers for other imprisoned Palestinians. According to the movement, around 6,000 Palestinians are held in Israeli prisons. Various sources indicate that Hamas has held about 250 individuals captive.

Currently, Israel and Hamas have agreed to continue the ceasefire regime to release the remaining hostages and those in custody, as well as to ensure the ongoing delivery of humanitarian supplies. At the same time, Israel's Defense Minister has warned that after the ceasefire, the IDF intends to resume military operations to eliminate Hamas.

Despite the ceasefire being largely upheld, both sides periodically report minor violations of the regime. The IDF has also reported that the country’s air defense system intercepted a missile launched from Lebanon. On the western bank of the Jordan River, Israeli forces, according to the IDF, have eliminated individuals connected to terrorist organizations.
