Lars Pass Closed Only for Trucks: Current Situation on Armenian Roads

The Rescue Service informs that there is a closed road in the territory of Armenia. The road from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station to Kariye Lake is closed in the Aragatsotn province.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Lars road is closed only for trucks. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
