Israel Releases 30 Palestinian Prisoners in Exchange for 10 Hostages Held by Hamas, Says Qatari Foreign Ministry
The Israeli side has released 30 Palestinian prisoners on Tuesday, November 28, as part of an agreement reached with the Palestinian Hamas movement regarding a humanitarian ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Majid bin Mohammed Al Ansari, the official representative of Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on his microblog.
“On the fifth day of the humanitarian ceasefire agreement, 30 Palestinian civilians will be released today in exchange for the release of 10 Israeli hostages held in Gaza,” wrote Al Ansari.
According to the ministry's representative, among the released Palestinians are 15 women and 15 children and adolescents.
