Lars Is Closed Again: What Is the Situation on Armenia's Roads?

The Rescue Service reports that there is a closed road in the territory of Armenia. The road from the "Amberd" high-altitude weather station in Aragatsotn Province leading to Kar Lake is currently closed.

About Lars: According to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Management Department and the North Ossetian Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed only to freight transport. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
