Situation in Lars and Roads of Armenia

The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia reports that there is a closed road within the territory of Armenia. It is noted that the road leading from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station to Karch Lake in Aragatsotn province is closed.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed only for cargo vehicles, as stated in the agency's announcement.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
