Hamas Confirms Death of Four Commanders
The military wing of Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades, has announced the death of four of its commanders. The corresponding statement was published on Hamas's Telegram channel.
Specifically, it reports the death of Ahmad al-Ghandour, also known as Abu Anas, a member of the military council and commander of the Northern Brigade, as well as commanders Wael Rajab, Raafat Salmani, and Ayman Siam.
In turn, The Jerusalem Post reports that al-Ghandour was one of the key leaders of the military wing. According to the publication, he was responsible for “numerous acts of terrorism against Israelis.”
