Pashinyan Hopes Issues with Russia Will Be Discussed at the Highest Level Soon
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has stated that he hopes to discuss the existing issues in bilateral relations with Russia at the highest level in the near future.
“We are ready to continue and intensify discussions. I hope that in the near future we will have the opportunity for discussions at a higher or the highest level,” the Prime Minister said during a live broadcast on Public TV while responding to questions from Armenian citizens.
Pashinyan emphasized that Yerevan expects mutual understanding and respect for interests, sovereignty, independence, and obligations from its relations with Moscow.
Previously, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressed hope that Armenia would remain an ally of Russia.
