On the Prospect of Ceasing the Activity of Russian TV Channels in Armenia
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed questions from citizens and compatriots abroad during a live broadcast, discussing the prospect of ceasing the activity of Russian TV channels in Armenia.
According to the Prime Minister, state bodies in Armenia have identified certain issues that violate bilateral intergovernmental agreements. He stated, “Considering the friendly relations between Armenia and Russia and the existing realities, the Minister of High-Tech Industry has officially invited the Russian side for consultations to discuss this situation and understand what the outcomes or conclusions should be.”
He expressed hope that these consultations would take place as soon as possible.
It is worth noting that citizens sent around 500 questions to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He mentioned that he cannot respond to all of them, but specific questions containing particular issues will be forwarded to the relevant agencies.
