Armenia Recognizes Georgia's Territorial Integrity and Independence: Pashinyan

Armenia fully recognizes Georgia's territorial integrity and independence. This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while answering citizens' questions on Public Television.

He responded to a question regarding whether Armenia intends to recognize Russia's occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

“After the Velvet Revolution, Armenia has somewhat changed its behavior during voting on issues related to Georgia in the UN, and official Tbilisi expressed satisfaction. In 2019, Armenia abstained for the first time during the vote on the resolution initiated by Georgia regarding the ‘Status of Internally Displaced Persons and Refugees from Abkhazia and South Ossetia,’” Pashinyan elaborated.
