Photos: Fairy Tale Reality. The Rocks of Goris to Be Illuminated in the Evening Hours

“Goris will soon take on a fairy-tale appearance in the evening hours, as the rocks of Goris will be illuminated,” the Goris municipality reported.

“The design work for the rock lighting project is in the final stages, and once completed, the installation work for the lighting will begin. The photographs show the initial appearance of the illuminated rocks. The lights will be monochromatic, however, it will be possible to change the shades in line with the different seasons of the year.

This program is a new opportunity to further enhance the attractiveness of Goris, which will be carried out by the Goris municipality within the framework of the ‘Good Governance for Local Development in the South Caucasus’ project implemented by the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ), with the support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and co-financed in Armenia by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The program is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia (MTAI),” the municipality's press release stated. The municipality also published photographs.
