Kremlin on Pashinyan's Upcoming Visit to St. Petersburg

The Russian Federation expects Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to attend the informal meeting of the heads of CIS countries and the EAEU summit in St. Petersburg, especially since the presidency of the latter organization is passing to Armenia. This was stated by Yuri Ushakov, the assistant to the President of Russia, during a press conference. He also responded to a question about whether Armenian representatives would attend the meetings in St. Petersburg in December, saying: "I believe they will come to St. Petersburg, where the traditional informal meeting of the heads of CIS countries and the official meeting of the EAEU will take place. By the way, the presidency in this meeting is passing from us to Armenia. Therefore, I think Pashinyan will come to take over the baton from Vladimir Putin."
