VIDEO: What Should I Do There? Simonyan on Not Attending the Next CSTO Meeting

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, announced that he will not participate in the upcoming meeting of the CSTO member states in December. He made this statement during a press briefing at the National Assembly today.

Simonyan believes that his participation is inappropriate given the current situation. “In a situation where the CSTO is not fulfilling its obligations in any way and has already failed to do so, what should I do there? Can you explain that to me?” said the NA Speaker.

Alen Simonyan also stated that he has already informed the presiding country of his decision not to participate but has not received any response.
