Stepan Mkrtchyan Surpasses Records of Edgar Manucharyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan

20-year-old Stepan Mkrtchyan's match against the Croatians was his 15th appearance for the Armenian national team, as reported by the Football Federation of Armenia.

He has surpassed the age records of Edgar Manucharyan and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who each played 14 matches for the national team at that age, the highest among players of their age.

Stepan Mkrtchyan made his debut for the Armenian national team on March 24, 2022, in a friendly match against Montenegro held in Yerevan.
