Lars is Closed: Current Situation on Armenia's Roads

There are difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia. This is reported by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that the Lanjik-Mastara and Tzilkhar-Rya Taza roads are impassable for all types of vehicles. Black ice is present in some areas along the Saravan-Zanger, Alagyaz-Artik, Lanjik-Mastara, and Tzilkhar-Rya Taza roads, as well as in the regions of Ashotzk and Lanjik.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia's North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is closed to all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
