Vladimir Putin Calls for Uniting International Community Efforts

Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized the necessity of uniting international community efforts to find a political resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This was reported by TASS, citing his statement.

"We call for the unification of the international community's efforts aimed at de-escalating the situation, halting the fire, and searching for a political solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict," said the Russian president at the emergency BRICS summit.

According to Putin, the BRICS countries and regional states can play a key role in this endeavor. "That is why the participation of our partners from the Middle Eastern states in today’s session is particularly significant, as they have been invited to join BRICS in a liaison format this year. Taking this opportunity, I would like to respectfully note their efforts towards resolving the situation, particularly referring to the peace summit in Egypt and the Arab-Islamic emergency summit in Saudi Arabia," the Russian leader added.
