VIDEO: Armenian Army Has Various Suppliers for Arms Acquisitions, Says Arshakyan
The security system is not just contracts; it involves weaponry, soldiers, and international legal agreements. This was stated by the Vice President of the National Assembly, Hakob Arshakyan, during a conversation with reporters, responding to a question regarding whether the West is offering a security alternative to the CSTO.
“In terms of arms acquisitions, it is evident that the Armenian army has various suppliers, which unfortunately was not the case before,” said Arshakyan. He noted that there is no discussion in Armenia about abandoning cooperation with the CSTO.
The Vice President of the National Assembly pointed out that Armenia has rejected the CSTO aid package because the CSTO does not clarify where the organization's jurisdiction begins and ends. For more details, watch the video.
