Multiple Assassination Attempts Against Zelensky Prevented

The Ukrainian intelligence services have thwarted at least five or six conspiracies to assassinate President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky disclosed this in an interview with The Sun. According to the newspaper, Russian special forces entered Kyiv on the very first days of the armed attack aimed at killing Zelensky. His security personnel barricaded his office with makeshift barriers, and his aides were given rifles and bulletproof vests.

Zelensky stated that nearly two years into the large-scale war, Russia still "really wants" to bring him down. Their latest mission to achieve this goal, dubbed Maidan 3, is reportedly planned for the end of the year.

Additionally, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kyrylo Budanov, claimed that the Russians have prepared several "certain actions" against President Zelensky.
