70 Billion Drams Allocated for Individuals Displaced from Artsakh

More than 70 billion drams will be allocated from the 2023 Armenian state budget for the needs of individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh and for additional defense programs. The decision was made today during a meeting of the financial and budgetary commission of the National Assembly of Armenia.

To achieve this, other budget items will be reduced, and budget expenditures will be redistributed by no more than 3 percent.

It is worth noting that in the draft state budget for 2024, the Armenian government has initially earmarked 10 billion drams to support citizens displaced from Artsakh.
