Dozens of Children Evacuated from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza
At least 31 newborns have been successfully evacuated from the Al-Shifa hospital located in northern Gaza. This was announced in an interview with Al Arabiya by Mohamed Zakout, the head of the hospital department of the enclave's health ministry.
According to Zakout, these newborns were born prematurely. Currently, there is no information about who is overseeing the evacuation or where these children have been transferred.
It is worth noting that the World Health Organization is conducting the operation to evacuate newborns from the hospital. As stated by Mohamed Zakout, who holds the position of director of hospitals under Hamas in the Gaza Strip, a team from the World Health Organization (WHO) is being sent to the enclave's largest hospital to facilitate the evacuation of newborns.
