Why Tatul Asilyan Was Expelled from the CP: The Decision Has Deep Roots, Details from ‘Zhoghovurd’
The ruling party, the Civil Contract (CP), welcomed the expulsion of Tatul Asilyan with great joy and expressed satisfaction with the decision made by the leadership. This information comes from the ‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper.
According to the report, new details have emerged regarding the reasons behind Tatul Asilyan's removal. “As our sources relay, the reason was not at all related to the remarks about Artsakh residents. It is not that the CP is particularly sensitive and intolerant about negative comments regarding Artsakh residents. We have learned that the reasons for Tatul Asilyan’s expulsion have much deeper roots. It appears that he had ongoing issues with several prominent members of the CP, often arguing with them. CP members had periodically expressed their dissatisfaction about Asilyan to the leadership and reported on his inappropriate behavior. Ultimately, following discussions with members of the leadership, Nikol Pashinyan decided to remove him,” the newspaper states.
It is noteworthy that, as per the CP leadership's decision, Tatul Asilyan was expelled from the party on November 13.
