The individual who attempted to set fire to the entrance doors of the Jewish synagogue in Yerevan yesterday is a citizen of Russia. This was reported by the Баграмян26 Telegram channel, citing its sources.
“On November 15, he arrived in Yerevan from Moscow for just 8 hours. Immediately after arriving, he went from Zvartnots Airport to the Yerevan synagogue, where he tried to ignite the entrance doors using flammable materials. After committing the crime, he flew back to the Russian capital from Zvartnots Airport on the same day at noon,” the channel reported.
Previously, it was reported that the only Jewish synagogue in Yerevan had an arson attempt. The incident took place on November 15.
