VIDEO: Missing Persons and Fatalities as Criminal Case Opens Following Apartment Building Collapse in Astrakhan

The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, has ordered a criminal case to be opened regarding the collapse of two entrances of a residential building in Astrakhan. This has been reported by RT.

Judicial medical examiners from the central office of the Russian Investigative Committee, as well as staff from the committee's forensic expert center, have been dispatched to the scene, according to the department.

According to officials, there are still missing persons, with at least one confirmed fatality.
