This is a huge number that has significantly increased the potential of our economy: Pashinyan
The times are historic, as we are faced with the necessity to reassess the functional significance of our state and statehood. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a parliamentary session.
The Prime Minister noted what the outcome of this reassessment of functional significance should be. “Armenia is not a platform or a forward base for implementing plans devised outside its borders, but a means to ensure the safety, well-being, freedom, and happiness of its own citizens. The state must be guided solely by the logic of achieving those goals,” he detailed.
According to Pashinyan, the pinnacle of the system of Armenia's state interests is the economic development of Armenia. “In the last five years, we have ensured a 28 percent economic growth in Armenia. This is a huge number that has significantly increased the potential of our economy. However, in order to utilize that potential, reforms in the fields of vocational education, higher education, and science in the republic are necessary,” he added.
