A serious car accident occurred in Vanadzor involving an ambulance and a fire truck, resulting in injuries. This information has been reported by Shamshyan.com.

The incident happened today around 16:00 at the intersection of Batumi and Tigran Metz streets in Vanadzor. The vehicles involved were an Isuzu driven by 33-year-old Narek H. and a Toyota driven by 54-year-old Vahan Y.

As a result of the crash, Vahan Y. and his passenger, 37-year-old Karine S. from Lori province, were transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center with bodily injuries. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, according to the report.

According to the website's information, the Isuzu is registered to the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, while the Toyota is registered to the Vanadzor Medical Center. The driver of the Isuzu, Narek H., works in the Rescue Squad of Lori province, while Vahan Y., the driver of the Toyota, works as a driver for the Vanadzor ambulance service. The injured Karine S. is employed as a nurse in the same ambulance service.

It has been noted that the accident was caused by the ambulance vehicle, which crossed the street with the emergency lights on, creating a hazardous situation and subsequently leading to the collision. This information is being verified by the police, patrol service, and the Lori regional investigative department.
