Jerusalem Police Demand Armenians Vacate Disputed Area of ‘Cows’ Garden’

Jerusalem police have demanded that Armenians vacate the area known as ‘Cows’ Garden,’ accusing them of property appropriation. Daniel Seidman reported on his page that the Armenian community is opposing this action.

“The police are carrying out orders from the newcomers to the Armenian neighborhood. They demand that residents vacate the area, while the occupiers are to take control,” he wrote.

It is worth noting that since November 12, a large group of Armenians, in collaboration with the Patriarchate, has been vigilant in the ‘Cows’ Garden’ area. As a sign of protest, they have blocked the entrance to the area with vehicles and barricades to prevent further illegal construction.
